Hacking the semantic linked data web

Redland to California

So what have I been doing for the last few months? This:
rsync -avz --delete bristol.uk:/home/ california.us:/home/

Alternatively, going from: Redland RDF BS6 to: Redland California

In more detail: getting a new apartment, going to meetings, going to Atlanta for XML2005 and New York for WISE2005, talking about SPARQL a lot, going to more meetings, building new computers, reading lots of twiki pages, failing to ship another Raptor (nearly there), talking about triple stores a lot, fixing Planet RDF (<script>! grrr!), using the word repository a lot, fighting with Comcast’s IE-only dumb installer, going to more meetings, cursing PHP, buying lots of furniture, drinking lots of free coffee, and much, much more.

It’s great to be here. Christmas Eve and sunny and warm :) Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays if you prefer!

  1. Dave, do you actually have a license plate like that? :)

  2. No, it’s a gimp-ed up picture. So is the Bristol one, as they don’t yet name roads after Semantic Web toolkits :)
